Form Overview
Use the Create New Bubble Chart form to create a new Bubble Chart. This form a blank field for entering the new chart Name. Below the chart name field are three drop-down menus for selecting the X-axis, Y-axis, and bubble Size values. Buttons at the bottom allow you to save and open the new chart, save without opening, or cancel and close the form.
Create New Bubble Chart Name field:
Enter the Name for the new chart in this field. The chart name must be unique to the portfolio and not exceed 48 characters, including spaces.
The Drop-Down Menus:
Y-Axis: Select the Y-axis parameter from this list in this drop-down menu.
X-Axis: Select the X-axis parameter from this list in this drop-down menu.
Bubble Size Values: Select the bubble-size parameter from this list in this drop-down menu. The bubbles in the chart will be sized relative to the values selected here. (Note: The default value is that the bubble area will be proportional to the selected parameter. This can be changed to ratio, if desired, in the Chart Preferences form.)
The "Use Weighted Values" Check boxes (Bubble Chart Pro™ Plus only):
Select a "Use Weighted Value" check box if you want to chart the corresponding individual weighted normalized attribute values, instead of the entered actual attribute values.
Create New Chart Buttons:
[Save and Open Chart]: Click on this button to save and display the new Bubble Chart. This button is disabled until a name has been added to the Chart Name field and all three parameters have been selected.
[Save]: Click on this button to save, but not display, the new bubble chart. This button is disabled until a name has been added to the Chart Name field and all three parameters have been selected.
[Cancel]: Click on this button to close the Create New Bubble Chart form without saving the chart.
